Yom Kippur Message from the Rosh Yeshiva

Translation:
Dear students, alumni, friends of  Yeshivat Sha'alvim, I am happy to bless you with a Shana Tova, Gmar Chatima Tova for all of you in all realms, with all of the Jewish People.
On Yom Kippur the Kohen Gadol is privileged to enter the Holy of Holies- Kodesh HaKodashim. What is contained there? The Aron- the vessel that symbolizes the Torah and contains the luchot and the broken-shivrei-luchot. The luchot which Moshe Rabbeinu received on Har Sinai on Yom Kippur. The Kohen Gadol returns to the original Kabbalat HaTorah. The Jewish People feel that we have received forgiveness as we have re-received the Torah. The greatest expression of forgiveness is the strengthening of our connection with the Torah. We are returning to the complete luchot.

In tefila we request from Hashem "Return us our Father to Your Torah..let us return to You". The Torah precedes the Teshuva. Teshuva stems from Torah.

Happy is your lot to cling to Torah. We are happy in Yeshivat Sha'avim to continue disseminating Torah- this is the way to reach  complete teshuva. I bless you to remain connected to Torah- everyone in accordance with his capabilites. I bless you to remain attached to the Makom HaTorah that you were connected to in your youth, Yeshivat Sha'alvim. Please support us so that we can continue spreading Torah.

In the merit of strenghtening Torah may we all merit a wonderful year, a Gmar Chatima Tova. May we take from the light of Rosh HaShanah to  the salvation- Yesha- of Yom Kippur, climaxing with the dwelling in the Sukkah. May this be a good year for you, us,  for all of Klal Yisrael, a year of the complete redemption speedily in our times.
