מַה נָּאווּ עַל הֶהָרִים רַגְלֵי מְבַשֵּׂר מַשְׁמִיעַ שָׁלוֹם מְבַשֵּׂר טוֹב מַשְׁמִיעַ יְשׁוּעָה אֹמֵר לְצִיּוֹן מָלַךְ אֱלֹקָיִךְ: קוֹל צֹפַיִךְ נָשְׂאוּ קוֹל יַחְדָּו יְרַנֵּנוּ כִּי עַיִן בְּעַיִן יִרְאוּ בְּשׁוּב ה' צִיּוֹן: פִּצְחוּ רַנְּנוּ יַחְדָּו חָרְבוֹת יְרוּשָׁלִָם כִּי נִחַם ה' עַמּוֹ גָּאַל יְרוּשָׁלִָם: חָשַׂף ה' אֶת זְרוֹעַ קָדְשׁוֹ לְעֵינֵי כָּל הַגּוֹיִם וְרָאוּ כָּל אַפְסֵי אָרֶץ אֵת יְשׁוּעַת אֱלֹקֵינו:

How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of the messenger of good tidings, that announces peace, the harbinger of good news, that announces salvation; that says to Zion: “Your G-d reigns!” Your watchmen lift up the voice, together they sing; for they will see, eye to eye, HaShem returning to Zion. Break forth into joy, sing together, you desolate places of Jerusalem; for HaShem has comforted His people, He has redeemed Jerusalem. HaShem has made bare His holy arm in the eyes of all the nations; and all the ends of the earth will see the salvation of our G-d.
