Kitzur Hilchot Shmita

Baruch Hashem we are privileged in Israel to celebrate the Kedusha of the Shmitta year! Most people - Israelis and non-Israelis alike - are not completely familiar with the halachot necessary to purchase food, eat out, etc.

Over the last few weeks, a number of shiurim at SFW were dedicated to practical
applications of Hilchot Shmitta. If you are interested in seeing a summary of those halachot, please click here. You may also want to click here for a calendar (in English) of Kedusha schedules for common produce.

PLEASE NOTE: every effort was made to ensure accuracy and and clarity in the above documents. If you see any errors or if anything is unclear, please be so kind as to email Shaalvim for Women.
